Join fellow Beijing based graduates and guests for a special alumni networking event in September, focusing on Leadership and the Future of Work.

With our special guest John Russell – Managing Director of North Head, and co-hosted by Professor Gregory Whitwell, Dean of the University of Sydney Business School, and Professor Archie Johnston, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and IT, this ‘in conversation’ event will provide valuable insight into the changing world of work and how this may impact you as a future leader.

    John Russell

    Mr. John RUSSELL has over 25 years international communications consultancy experience in various parts of the world.  He has been in China for over 11 years.
    John is a member of the multinational business advisory committee of APEC China Business Council and North Head is strategic counsellor to the Global Times Business Leaders’ Roundtable.

    Previously he headed the public affairs and corporate communications practices of Weber Shandwick, first in Europe then across the Asia Pacific.  He is the former managing director of the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union in Brussels.  He has lived and worked in the UK, Germany, the Middle East, South-East Asia in addition to his native Australia.
